Think Big...

Acted small, but it's turning out big again...

My almost forgotten baby blue AJ that was finished in June.

Pattern: Apricot Jacket from Rebecca 27

Needles: 4mm circulars

Yarn: 250g of Softy Cottons from the yarn stall in Causeway

Mods: Substituted DK weight for the worsted, I went with the smallest size and shorten the ribbings on the body a little bit, maybe by 20%

Finished Size: Chest 28", Length 16" (Probably a 3T-4T)

What a great way to mod this pattern! I'd been waiting for you to show it off. I want to try that too!

It turned out so cute. I really need to try this way of downsizing (or upsizing) patterns one of these days :) Jasmine's grown so much, a little lady now, in her mini AJ.

Oh how cute is that. It looks so sweet on her too, and will fit for quite a long time too.

So pretty and how clever of you to use a thinner yarn to downsize it! It will soon fit Jasmine, kids grow so fast!
